Three generations of experience
In spite of the numerous options and the worldwide application of drainage techniques, detailed knowledge resides with just a small group of experts. Since 1960, Horman Drainagefilter B.V. has been one of them. From that point onwards, Horman developed and manufactured drainage drainage filters. The family company – now led by the third generation – has developed into an all-round drainage specialist.

Everything for drainage In addition to a complete range of drainage filters in all sorts of types and sizes, Horman offers you special products for drainage and irrigation. We are the representative for several types of Tracka (a tracing system for localising tubes and pipes) and we handle the storage and distribution of an extensive range of drainage and sewer accessories.

Our field of work includes sports fields, cultivated land and roads, as well as railways, construction sites and market gardening greenhouses. Our product range has products for any site and any application. And if not, we will manufacture it.

Authority in fibres During the sixties, Horman developed the first manufactured flax fibre drainage filter. We have been one of the leaders in the creation of new types of tube casings for any use ever since. Our extensive knowledge of both natural and artificial flax fibre and how to process it by machine has often resulted in the creation of new products for a totally different branch. We developed special planting sticks made of coconut shells and plant troughs made of coconut fibre for the agricultural and horticultural sectors. The road construction and hydraulic engineering sectors call in our expertise for the construction of natural shorelines; together we try to find ways to prevent erosion of slopes.

Logistics in its optimum form Horman plays a key role in logistics as well. After all, the transport of prewrapped drainage tubes requires in-depth expertise. The filter material in particular can be damaged when handled in the wrong way. Thanks to specially manufactured transporters, we are capable of transporting the products safely and loading and unloading them within a short time.Our large storage premises in 's-Gravendeel and a well thought out logistics system allow us to deliver both large and small quantities rapidly.

Quality under the surface Horman imposes strict requirements on its products.This is only natural, as most of them will disappear under the ground for a long time and have to stay there and function with no problems. Only the products that pass our strict quality checks leave our site. And off course, nearly all our products have a KOMO quality mark.
